Care of the finish on your Armour
If you have armour made from mild steel it will rust. To help prevent it it is best to not let it get wet. You can store it in a bag with an oiled cloth and wipe it down after handling and use. A polished piece will be slightly more rust resistant.
If your armour is stainless steel it isn't gonna rust. Not really. However it doesn't mean you should store it in a bucket of salt water either.
If your grill is spray painted it is built from cold rolled mild steel. you can touch it up with flat back spray paint.
If your armour has the antique/ dark finish this is a surface treatment. Like a gun bluing. Over time it will come off but the armour will never get a polished look. It will start to get a patina look. This can be accelerated if you let it roll around in a cloth bag or rub it with a cloth, green scrubby etc.
To remove tape and stickers I use acetone and a soft microfiber cloth, sometimes my fingernail is needed. Never use Brasso or similar products in the dark finish. It will remove it. Paper stickers suck. You can put a piece of clear packaging tape down first and then put the paper sticker on it.
The longer you leave stickers and tape on your armour the harder it is to remove it.
Leaving armour in a cloth bag on the grass will attract moisture. Lots of it. Thus Rust.
